Footpath near number 24 The Avenue , Blunham MK44 3NY is damaged. The houses are back to front . The back of the houses are facing the road. So you need to go around to the garages to see the front door of number 24 which is where the damaged public footpath is

  • Resident has called as pathway has not been inspected and it is in desperate need of repair as it is directly outside her front gate, she is eldery and disabled and most residents in the area are eldery - area team contacted directly

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
