Lancot Drive, between Lancot School and No.26 and also adjacent to No. 1
Reported via mobile in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 17:56, Fri 4 August 2023
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 35 minutes later. Council ref: 392968.
Both surface water drains are blocked solid and have been for some while. Heavy rain causes the roadway to flood from the school entrance as far as up to No. 3 Children attending the school cross the road where flooding occurs. This problem has been reported a number of times over the past few years but continually occurs causing a great deal of inconvenience to people crossing the road at this point.

Customer called a few times- could not see any updates in the report- and all the time was advised that will have to either send email or just report the issue again. I have advised that by the look of it this report and gully has been added to the gullies plan or work and on the online schedule it seems that will take place sometime in November.
I have advised the customer to get back if it will rain and her property is at risk to get flooded. Email sent to customer with the link to Gully and manhole cleaning programme for Central Bedfordshire as requested.
