Junction of Appleby Gardens and Langdale Road

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 394644.
The mature copper beech tree standing on the triangle of land at this junction is now of such a size that it could well be brought down by a violent storm. Were that to happen there is real potential for it to cause great damage to the houses situated between 53 and 59 Appleby Gardens with the attendant possibility of injury or death to the residents. The tree now needs urgently to be reduced to a size suited to its location. Obviously this is a problem that has developed over time but comes into sharper focus with the increasing frequency of extreme weather events
