Pavement alongside 44 Castle Hill Road, down the side, down Park Avenue.
Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 21:05, Thursday 11 January 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 399958.
I live at 44 Castle Hill Road and the pavement alongside our house (down park avenue) has been lifted up, possibly by tree roots from a tree on our property. It was like this when we purchased our house, and we can’t currently afford to remove the tree, but I’m worried about the pavement and someone getting hurt if they trip etc. i wondered if the pavement can be fixed please?

We had the tree removed 6 months ago yet nothing has been done for the pavement. I have seen passers by trip over the pavement and also my toddler trips over it every day when walking to the car, i have to pick her up over it every time we leave the house. In the dark it is impossible to see to avoid tripping. This was changed to "investigating" 7 months ago yet nothing has been done. Can this please be repaired? Thank you.
