Pavement between Millow house and public bridleway
Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 14:32, Wed 17 January 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 400263.
Pavement is very overgrown with weeds and vegetation resulting in a very narrow pavement (no more than 40cm in places) on a very fast and busy stretch of road which should be 30mph. Often not enough room to walk single file between Millow house and public bridleway (near Millow hall farm on public bridleway).

We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
