Long hedge on Priory Park the whole stretch from the entrance on Priory Park to Ash Grove

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402933.

This is a retirement estate and we are now all afraid to walk on the pavement because it is all green moss the residents have to walk in the road! Our manager reported this problem over a year ago and it has got worse still nothing has been done

  • Still same problems moss on footpaths,ie Longhedge and now part of oak close last time I reported this you said investigating but nothing has showed up on our cctv camera our manager has seen nobody from your department so I do not know how you investigate!

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
