  • 4 months now since my original report of this seriously dangerous trip hazard. Just last week a contractor was working on the pavement within 1metre of this problem but it was not dealt with. I reported the problem again to the Bedfordshire highways engineer on site who was inspecting this other work. What is happening?

  • Duplicate with 409325

    Customer email:
    I checked that the issue is still unresolved and rang and spoke to CSA this morning.
    I pointed out that you should not have closed the ticket as that "stops the clock", and suggests that it has been dealt with, whereas it has not even been identified.
    However, he gave me a new ref No. of 409325 and we discussed the location in more detail as it's not possible to locate the "pin" very accurately on the fixmystreet map:- it is on the left corner as you turn into Chichester Close from Half Moon Lane; behind the salt bin; below the wonky road sign;
    furthest away from the roadway and less than 1m from a trench recently filled in by your contractor (and which was inspected by a Highways engineer who I spoke to and mentioned the uneven pavement).
    Hopefully you will be able to arrange a successful visit without further delay, as it is a serious trip hazard at present.
