High Street Shefford

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 12:58, Wednesday 19 June 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408250.

The recently introduced traffic calming 'speed buttons' are far too severe and innapropriately high - my 'average' car (Ford Focus) dragged on the top of the first button heading west and I was forced to drive over the remaining buttons with one side of the car at no more than 10 mph ( I have a muscular-skeletal disorder so any faster is most uncomfortable) - this is dangerous as I was overtaken by a 4x4 type SUV which seemed to be unaffected by the new traffic measures. Please review urgently.
