The footpath down the side of Grundfos Pumps that leads to Tiddenfoot lake

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 08:35, Sunday 23 June 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408377.

The trees are over hanging down the lane so much that you can’t even walk down here now without having to duck - please perform tree and hedge maintenance. People run down here and there are people on bikes all swerving to avoid the low hanging trees.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
