Lovett Way between both roundabouts
Reported via Android in the Kerbs category anonymously at 15:17, Friday 28 June 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408617.
The problem is the central reservation is not being maintained and as a result there are now blindspots for drivers due to the shrubs being overgrown. There is also a cut through used by pedestrian and scooters and you would never see anyone or anything that stepped out . It's an accident waiting to happen and this is the 2nd time I have raised this concern.

Mike-Mike.Church@BellrockGroup.co.uk has emailed again chasing this concern: "On the 25th June I posted on the APP Fix My Street that there was a big H&S issue on Lovett Way with regards to the blind spot caused by bushes as you approach the running man roundabout that then leads on to Porz Avenue. On the report I highlighted that as a driver approaching that roundabout you are completely blind sided to your right in terms of fast traffic or bikes approaching from the right on Porz Avenue. The reference number was 408617
I also mentioned that the hedgerow was also too high to see pedestrians on foot or scooters crossing from one side to the other as a driver, this scenario remains the same. I now wish to report that I have limited viewing on the sites CCTV cameras now in terms of who is leaving the site as its obscured.
Can this please be actioned as a priority as someone needs to action this as a Health and Safety issue and get a landscaping team out immediately, this does not fall under the remit of the Woodside team."
Please can he be provided with an update.
