Outside 8 meadhook drive
Reported via mobile in the Trees category by Daniel goodge at 17:35, Friday 5 July 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408872.
The trees, hedges a bushes are so overgrown the path is inaccessible to pedestrians. This greenery does not belong to any resident and is part of public land beyond the fence of 8 meadhook drive. This is an ongoing problem and creates a dangerous hazard for the public. The trees are also overhanging the drive of 8 meadhook drive and pose a danger to nearby buildings and parked cars on private land

Thank you for making a report, however, Central Befordshire Council are not responsible for this matter, and therefore the report will now be closed.
This boundary feature has not been adopted by Central Bedfordshire Council and is still the responsibility of the developer to manage. We have written to them asking them to remove the obstruction from footway and streetlight. Unfortunately we lack the capacity and authority to act as an agent on the behalf of residents and the encroachment of the third party vegetation into their land.
Many thanks,
