Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409249.

The drains are blocked. We have just see the guys come and suck out the drains both sides of the street 15 min later the heavens opened. And the water still does not drain away. The other side of the road the drains are now flowing freely. This shows there is a bigger problem that needs investigating. Possibly drains have collapsed

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
