Pothole on the end of Manhole in the road. At present jammed with a couple of rocks. The manhole is unstable and will only get worse once we have a frost. Just near the road resurfacing currently taking place on Rook street/Queens street 16/7/24. Footpath around here resurfaced but not this hazard.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
