Terrible path surface, we have elderly people living on this row and a fall is only a matter of time, this has also sunk so during heavy rain the water pools at the t junction

  • Yet again we’re faced with a non existent service from our council.We have tried to clear the drains ourselves but they have been blocked for so many years it’s pretty hopeless. When will this ward be looked after? Maybe when one of our residents falls or can’t leave their house due to the flooding

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
