Outside 99 Bedford Road

Reported via mobile in the Kerbs category anonymously at 17:15, Thursday 25 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409697.

I reported this and I've had an email to say no further action. No work has been completed. Today further kerb stone have come out and is on the path at the bottom of our driveway. Surely this is a trip hazard for pedestrians? If you're not going to fix it can you explain why and come and remove the discarded stones from the path at least?

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
