Rear of 33 Kirton Way, Houghton Regis, LU5 5PZ

Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 21:31, Thu 25 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409705.

I live at and own 23 Kirton Way. My garage is in a blovk of 3, not attached to my house. The Kerbstone from the pavement overhangs garage driveway. People are parking up to the edge of the kerb, making it very difficult to use my drive. Been like it since we moved to the property May 1999. Have tried to get sorted several times but give up as never any response. Now, parking is so dire, I need this resolved. We park one car on drive, one in front, as do my neighbours. If a car parks up to edge of over hanging kerb stone, we cannot even get on our drive if neighbours have parked. And if on drive, cannot get off.

  • Hi Is there an Update on this yet please? I have literally heard nothing since logging issue in July This is what has always happens and I give up. Was hoping having a visible audit trail would work...but obviously not. Very disappointing

  • Hi, any update on this issue please. I logged this issue in July and have had absolutely no contact from Central Bedfordshire Council. The kerb stone in question is clearly over hanging my drive and has been for decades. I think it's time the matter was sorted out.

  • Hi. Is there anyone working in the department at the council that deals with these issues or is it a dusty, empty office. This matter was reported 5 months ago and there has been no contact.
