Garden next to 12 Manor road

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 08:58, Friday 26 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409709.

Concern that large Ashtree close to pathway at Manor road has ash dieback and is a potential danger. Photo shown is NOT the tree but one we saw in Derbyshire last week that collapsed with no notice in an area with footpaths that we had walked earlier in the day. I walk manor road everyday and would not want any risk of this. .

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

    Many thanks,
