From Newport Road to Woburn Road

Reported via iOS in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Hatcher Bradbery at 05:09, Wed 31 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409850.

The pavement is very uneven and very narrow with a lot of vegetation growing over the pavement, I often use this pavement to travel from Woburn to Woburn Sands using my mobility scooter, the pavement is so narrow my disability scooter just about fits on it the whole pavement is lumpy and bumpy and being so close to fast moving traffic travelling at 60 mph it's very unsafe as speedy vehicles are only a few feet away, the pavement needs resurfacing and made much wider and on Woburn Road just before Woburn Sands there is a lay-by with drop kerbs each side of the lay-by which is covered by vegetation making it impossible to use and also sometimes blocked by parked cars which causes me a problem accessing the drop kerb with my mobility scooter.
