Right of way traffic calming entering Barton village

Reported via mobile in the Signs category anonymously at 08:31, Wednesday 31 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409853.

Entering Barton village from the A6 slip road traffic calming give way sign is damaged. New clearer signage and road markings including raised curbs are required. Every morning people ignore the right of way of people leaving the village. This morning was the council contractor driving the white recycling bin lorry. When asked why the driver didn’t give way “yeah yeah yeah” was the answer. Need raised curbs to stop people driving up the verge to push through or completely remove the traffic calm spot and make it free flowing in both directions.
