Crossway , Leighton Buzzard

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 11:02, Friday 2 August 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409932.

Over grown tree located along Crossway at the corner with Highfield Rd . Tree is over hanging the side of 107 Highfield Rd. Resident living at number 107 Highfield Rd. has reported the tree in the past and was informed that we would not be dealing with it at that time. Provided a CRN 372010 However another resident. His neighbour living in the next road along at number 92 Russell Way has got permission from the council to trim another tree. This neighbour has now got a contractor to come and carry out this work Although this is a different tree , the tree is also along Crossway and is opposite to the side of his house which is 107 Highfield. He would like permission to also carry out work to trim the tree along Crossway but the tree is at the side of his house , and his house is 107 Highfield Rd.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.

The land is unregistered and has not been adopted by the Council. Therefore we cannot stop residents pruning these trees when they encroach their garden.

    Many thanks,
