Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409964.

Owners of cars & vans parking on pavement on both sides of the road & the pavement is getting so uneven on Benning Avenue and Worthington Road. My grandson has fallen on this uneven surface & I am disabled an not very steady on my feet.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
