Footpath is overgrown, badly narrowed by growth and pretty much impassable

  • Hi. Certain sections of public footpath no.16 Henlow are on our public rights of way annual grass cutting regime. Unfortunately this year we have had a reduced budget and can only afford to do 2 cuts of paths on the schedule. The first cut of paths has been delayed. We have been using local volunteers to clear back small bits of vegetation in some parishes. There is not currently a local footpath volunteer group in Henlow but we are discussions with the Parish Council about possibly setting one up. Many thanks for your interest in this matter. The path will be cut by the contractor in due course.
