Reported via desktop in the Trees category by Bob Smith at 10:33, Friday 9 August 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410153.

First area has been overgrown my nettles etc to make it difficult to walk on the pathway. Secondly, the hedge (part of the Herberts Way Play Area has overgrown and it is difficult to walk, Interesting when the cutting/trimming of the play area is done this particular tree/hedge is missed.

  • Herberts Meadow estate and play park are yet to be adopted by CBC/Highways, they are still privately owned/maintained. It's still under the ownership of the developer and all vegetation/hedging around the play park is within their ownership, so we're unsure why they wouldn't include this particular hedge in their cutting schedule. We can make contact and request this is actioned.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
