I am a resident around the back of Hazel walk with children and am sick of this public footpath being blocked by the residents of this house. First it was an obscene caravan causing a health and safety issue day and night and now it’s their car. How am I supposed to walk around safely with my children when a public footpath is being blocked continuously. Delivery vans speed down here and if my child gets knocked over due to these obstructions I will be holding someone responsible. Please address the situation.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
