Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410400.
These 2 trees need cutting back considerably. They are to high, to wide and are blocking light from residents houses. The leaf fall in the Autumn is excessive and impacts on residents that live in the road. This issue has been reported on fix my street previously and was last updated in Nov 2022.

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
Please note that as per our tree policy, we are under no obligation to prune trees to allow additional light into private property, nor are we required to prune for seasonal issues such as leaf drop etc.
Many thanks,
