Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category by James Gerald Webster at 19:16, Sunday 18 August 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410435.
On the 18th August 2024 at 12:03 midday, I witnessed a friend Paul hit a deep pothole in the middle of the road on his road bike and he went over and fell to the ground. He had multiple injuries including to his head and hip and also his bike was damaged. The pothole is difficult to see but is deep and dangerous for cyclists, walkers and could damage a vehicle's suspension. I am not sure how long the pothole has been there, but appears to have been there for some time.
