Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410739.

The tree is growing into my house and needs chopping back. It’s also a problem for people walking past as they have to crouch down to get past.

These trees are due for their first CBC Highways inspection. This will be undertaken in the coming weeks and any necessary works will be added to our schedule. At current we cant guarantee a timeframe or confirm any dates for any potential work. In the meantime, under common law, residents are entitled to prune back any vegetation encroaching onto their property themselves.

I have not seen anyone out to inspect this. Has there been any updates on this as I am hoping this gets trimmed back asap. I cannot climb a ladder to cut this back myself as you.ve previously suggested and they should be maintained by yourselves.
