Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410832.

Along Luton Rd and near and in around the Fancott pub. Blocked drains . Has led to flooding in the past. See previous reports from Feb 2024

  • Customer says water is not draining away into the drains. The drains is still blocked.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
