Outside Parkfields School
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411061.
Drain never been cleared and getting worse. ALL drains along the Parkfields School side of Park Road need clearing otherwise the road will flood when the heavy rain arrives. This is an ongoing issue that does not appear to be routinely maintained by Bedfordshire Highways

Because Beds Highways have not been proactive to rectify this issue Park Road has been flooded out with cars being abandoned & residents trying there best to help out. All drains along Park Road need to be cleared out with a matter of urgency before houses are flooded again

An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
