Outside 25 Churchill Road

Reported via mobile in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 11:17, Sunday 8 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411129.

The road floods every time it rains. It's dangerous to drive through and is nearly reaching the houses. There are a lot of disabled and elderly residents who risk being flooded. This has been ongoing longer than a year. Please fix.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
Hello, Our cyclical gully cleaning programme is in Marston this financial year and the road will be cleaned as part of this.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
