2 apple trees located alongside 19 Primrose Close boundary, on the public footpath connecting Dunton Lane to Jasmine Close.
Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 09:19, Wed 11 September 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411246.
The apple trees are very much overgrown (have been since we moved in 8 years ago) looking unsightly and with branches overhanging our boundary, the apples are falling on our conservatory roof causing damage. The branches are growing up high to our bedroom window and to our guttering.

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the trees during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report. Under common law, residents are entitled to prune back any encroaching vegetation/branches to their boundary.
Many thanks,
