32 Chalkdown LU27FH

Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 18:11, Wednesday 11 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411276.

Hello! Hope you're well! We are the owners of a property at 32 Chalkdown LU27FH. In between our two parking spaces, we have 2 trees. (picture attached) The trees are damaging our cars. All the season is a mess. Blossoms, fruits, leaves, birds poop, and long branches that are scratching the cars. What I want to ask is: The trees are ours? Or council? We are allowed to cut them? Can you kindly explain me, please? Thank you for your response Dana Biserica

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 18:11, Wednesday 11 September 2024

  • Hello - the trees are not owned by CBC as the verges are not adopted. I'd advise the resident using Land Registry to clarify the exact owner as each verge (with tree) is privately owned. We cannot give the details due to data protection etc.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
