Vehicles driving on pavement during school drop offf

Reported via Android in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 13:38, Thu 12 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411304.

Ledburn grove is an important route to and from Cedars and linslade schools. It is the route that school busses takes. However, there are a lot of cars parked along this road. This means that and busses really struggle to move along this road during the busy drop off and pick up. Its made worse by the traffic lights by the rail bridge, as sometimes cars can't move to clear space for oncoming traffic. This traffic congestion leads to cars mounting and driving along while the pavement is really busy with school children walking to and from school. This is an accident waiting to happen. In the long run the children's health must be being harmed by the large number of cars that just sit with their engines idling while they try and get along Ledburn grove and Cedars way. I am not sure whether the cars parked along these roads belong to residents who live there or people walking to the station. But it would really help if parking could be prevented along Ledburn Grove and Cedars Way during school drop off and pick up. Thank you
