Driveway of 53a Bedford Road, Moggerhanger

Reported via mobile in the Flooded Property category anonymously at 12:39, Friday 13 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411362.

Since the road has been resurfaced our driveway has flooded each time it rains. Not a problem normally. However, we recently had cause to need to switch off the water supply. The stopcock is under the flooded area. Very difficult for us and the plumbers. Not a safety or health issue atm. BUT, when it freezes this will be a hazard for walkers and traffic in and out of the driveway. As I say, it was the surface of the road being raised that has caused this. Needs to be resolved before winter please.
