  • We are looking into the ownership of this. Land Registry suggests it isnt part of the property, however our mapping suggests CBC have stopped up ownership of this section of hedge and only manage the footway. We will investigate and confirm.

  • Could I please have an update on this? It is a blind corner and coming out of drives is very dangerous. If it is not owned by the property then who is responsible for cutting the trees and hedges back to provide visibility?Thank you.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
