Damaged barrier along the A4146. Leighton Buzzard This barrier is leading up to the round about that takes you into Grovebury retail park

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

  • Customer called asking for an update in regrads of this matter. I have provided the update found on Insight but customer was not happy with the update saying that needs to be fixed as soon as possible as is a health and safety matter.
