Public footpath between Albany Road and Hartwell Crescent, Leighton Buzzard

Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 13:33, Wed 18 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411543.

This obscured, very old, and badly graffiti'ed cycle restriction sign has still not been attended to despite being reported in April and, according to the report update, then passed for further action. Yet NOTHING has been done! It is still badly worn and obscured, it has not been refreshed or replaced, and no attempt has been made to rectify the issue. Many people on bikes are still simply ignoring the restriction, causing danger and disruption to pedestrians along the public footpath, including the elderly and parents of small children attending the nursery school in Albany Road. This now needs urgent attention. Please action ASAP.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
