Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 13:11, Sunday 22 September 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411702.
The drain is blocked at the bottom of Millers Lane and a steady stream of water flows down the High Street - this will become a problem when we get a freeze

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
