Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411741.
Gulley on side of road outside Woodside Cottage is still blocked. Rain water once again overflowing into my property. And the granite sets in front of my drive (as set by yourselves) need to be raised. Tarmac reaches top of them. I cannot remember how many times i have contacted you over the last 10 years about this in one shape or form. I believe this is also a problem for other properties in the same road. I pay my taxes so how many more times do i need to contact you about this?

This weeks flooding and overflowing gullies are largely the result of extreme weather and the drainage systems all exceeding capacity, rather the drains themselves being blocked. If your road is flooded, please call the emergency hotline number.
We will continue to monitor the area in a more moderate amount of rainfall and assess at that stage if drains are blocked and if remedial works are required. -
