Very small drain cannot cope when it rains. Today's storm made it overflow resulting in water blocking the public footpath and coming into the front gardens of 270 & 272 West St. Unable to leave the property due to the depth of the water. This inadequate drain has caused problems for years. My neighbour and I have reported it which does result in a street sweeper clearing the drain but it needs a bigger drain and a better clearing schedule. I am worried about the damage this water is doing to my house. I have a video of today's flood if it is needed for evidence.
