The drains are spouting water rather than taking it down. This is all the way along my section or road. This is then all surging down my drive and flooding the drive and sideway of my house. This is not the first time in the last 12 months either. The drains are not up to the job and need proper rectification work before it floods my home.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
