Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 07:59, Monday 23 September 2024

  • Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. We plan to inspect the site during the next instance of significant rainfall (that takes place during working hours) and decide on the best course of action.

    State changed to: In progress

Posted by Central Bedfordshire Council at 14:49, Monday 23 September 2024

  • This week’s flooding and overflowing gullies are largely the result of extreme weather and the drainage systems all exceeding capacity, rather the drains themselves being blocked. If your road is flooded, please call the emergency hotline number.
We will continue to monitor the area in a more moderate amount of rainfall and assess at that stage if drains are blocked and if remedial works are required.

State changed to: No further action
