Kurb/driveway of 22 Buttermere avenue
Reported via desktop in the Kerbs category anonymously at 18:23, Tue 24 September 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412075.
Work was done on the road some months back but for some reason it was never resurfaced with new tarmac. All surrounding streets have been resurfaced properly. Buttermere has been left stripped down to concrete. This has left a noticeable lip along all dropped curbs and driveways to the point children on scooters have been flung off trying to go up them and an elderly lady has actually tipped out of her mobility scooter because of the bump created. In addition over time the driveway blocks have begun to slip away as nothing now actually holds them in position. As you can see in the photos as cars mount them they now actually fly out of position into the road. The whole surface is incredibly dangerous for both pedestrians and drivers. Please can this be sorted ASAP before someone is seriously injured.
