Northwood end road between the The Greyhound and Standalone Warren

Reported via mobile in the Road Surface category anonymously at 15:26, Wed 25 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412124.

The construction vehicles and other increased traffic for the new build are making our road dangerous. They are going up the verges to get past oncoming traffic and causing mud to be spread dangerously across the road. We have contacted the construction company and they responded saying they would cleaner roads - we had a road cleaner out once for 7 minutes 2 weeks ago and nothing since. Permission is given to these new builds and the residents have to put up with muddy dangerous roads. Northwood End Road has no road markings and is narrow yet massive construction vehicles speed up it daily. The road needs to be cleared urgently as with on coming rain it will become slippery. The road is too narrow - in the last week I have had my wing mirror hit twice !
