The alley way between Buttercup and Eagle farm road

Reported via desktop in the Public Rights of way category by Cllr Paul How at 17:48, Wednesday 25 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6515894.

There’s been a verge cut done but the thicker vegetation and corner remain blind. This shouldn’t be where the activity stops as it’s not enough to solve future issues

Updates

  • The work that has been undertaken to date is to ensure that vegetation is not growing onto the footpath. I'm not quite sure what you mean about it is not enough to stop future issues, but I will take a look at the footpath and assess.

  • I have checked Footpath 24 where you dropped the pin and there are no vegetation issues along this footpath - see photos. From the comments you have made I think you are referring to Footpath 27 which continues from Eagle Farm Road where there have been issues with drug dealing and other anti-social behaviour? Works to address this issue are scheduled for 4/11/24 where a group of volunteers will be cutting back vegetation to improve visibility.
