Outside 99 Hadrian Avenue

Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 15:18, Thu 26 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412197.

The last tree on the left at the end of Hadrian Avenue (Before school gates) on the verge is very old and appears to be at the end of it's lifespan.

The top half of the tree is completely dead, whilst the bottom half is still alive.

Can this tree please be inspected and identify weather it can be trimmed back or else cut down and replaced with a new tree?

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
