Reported via Android in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 20:46, Sun 29 September 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412392.
There are several blocked drains that are behind the village hall and throughout the village. These are filled with mud and during bad weather including the recent floods these are not fit for purpose therefore impacting on village hall, neighboring houses and footpath causing the water to divert into the properties and hall. This is reoccurring event whenever it rains and immediate attention is required to ensure safety of residents and the properties

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
This area is due to be actioned on our cyclical gully maintenance plan this financial year. Many thanks,
