Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412538.

For the second time in a week the road has flooded. Sucking the water away is only a temporary fix, the drains need properly dealing with. There is a drain outside both 1 and 10 BOTH need investigation, last week only the one outside 1 was looked at.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
