Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412594.

Blocked drain on main road. Anglian water came out on said it your responsibility as its a blocked gulley and needs digging out. It's outside number 19 I think. Water is constantly running down the street.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. There is no flood risk, and water can flow down to the next gully.
    Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
