Footpath between no66 Dunstable Rd and Green barn

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412611.

Section of path restricted by growth of verge, resulting in narrowing of pavement for about 30 metres. This causes issues for parents with prams, users of wheelchairs and mobility scooters as well as pedestrians.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
